Log in to MyCSC service for the first time using Haka

This tutorial will show you the steps to log in to a MyCSC service using Haka authentication. When you log in for the first time, you will need to create a CSC account.

Prerequisites

1. An affiliation with a Finnish higher education institute (University or University of Applied Sciences)

Procedure

Visit the website https://my.csc.fi. Acknowledge the minimal cookie policy.

Click the 'Log in / Register' button at the top right of the page.

Select the Haka option.

Tip

Once you have logged in using Haka for the first time, you have the option to use CSC authentication in the future.

Select your own organisation from the drop-down menu on the opening web page and click select.

Enter your own organisation's login details and press the Login button.

Please note that the login page is customised by your home organisation and will look different from the example below.

Then enter your User Information and continue by clicking on the Next Step button.

Next is the contact information. Enter this and click the Next Step button.

Finally, create a password for your CSC account. Accept the General Terms of Use for CSC Services and click Submit button.

Tip

Although you can use your HEI account with many CSC services via the Haka login, it's a good idea to also write up your CSC account details for future use.
