This tutorial shows you how to access the Puhti supercomputer via the web interface, check configuration tools, available services and metrics.

Prerequisites

1. Puhti service is enabled in the MyCSC project

Procedure

Visit the website https://puhti.csc.fi. Click the 'Log in' button.

Select the CSC or Haka option. Log in with your home organisation's credentials.

That's it!

You now have access to the web interface of the Puhti service.

The web interface gives you access to configure, use and monitor the Puhti supercomputer.

Configuration and usage is project (and user) based.

Tip

Compute and login shells are also available via a traditional SSH connection, and the web interface is not necessarily required for these.

The monitoring covers the whole platform and gives you an overall view of the workload of the Puhti.

The detailed monitoring view can be accessed by clicking this button.

The view can be collapsed by pressing the same button again.
